Our Employability Strategy embeds employability and skill development into the student lifecycle. It facilitates access to professional learning for all students and provides a wide portfolio of opportunities for everyone studying at the university.
We have teams of Employability experts, based centrally within Professional Services and embedded within the Faculties/School, to ensure all students have access to a wide range of employability support and expertise.

Finding work experience can be a real challenge for students in years one and two as organisations often ask for prior experience and skills they may not have had a chance to develop. Bath Insights gives students in their first or second year the opportunity to gain work experience in a safe, supportive environment through working as an intern in one of a variety of departments on the university campus.

It doesn’t matter what course you’re studying, or what stage of study you’re at, the programme is open to everyone and is a fun way to get new experiences and make new friends.
