Synopsis: This project involves the investigation of a scientific hypothesis using lab or non-lab techniques. You will explore the hypothesis in depth using methods to generate new data such as bench-based experiments; in silico experiments; meta-analyses; surveys. Through their analysis, interpretation, and evaluation you will create original conclusions based on these findings. You will act as a research scientist trying to push forward the boundaries of knowledge and understanding.

Content: Selection and definition of a problem, under the supervision of a Project Supervisor, that can be investigated effectively within constraints of safety, time and resources; strategic planning; gathering, processing, analysis and interpretation of information; literature searching and reviewing; scientific writing and presentation.
