Students must take optional units in this course year as follows:

  • One of the following (the semester in which the capstone project is taken will be allocated by the department):
    1. SL32139 Capstone project (S1) and SL32073 Grand challenge (S2) plus 10 credits of Biological ethics, Science communication, and Current topics units;
    2. SL32140 Capstone project (S2) and SL32072 Grand challenge (S1) plus 10 credits of Biological ethics, Science communication, and Current topics units;
  • 30 credits from the remaining options - please note that no more than 10 credits of education units (units with codes beginning ED) may be taken.

Take SL32139 BSc Capstone project (S1) and SL32073 Grand challenge (S2) plus 10 credits of Biological ethics, Science communication, and Current topics units or SL32140 BSc Capstone project (S2) and SL32072 Grand challenge (S1) plus 10 credits of Biological ethics, Science communication, and Current topics units.
