By the end of this unit, you will be able to:
- Utilise your communication skills to explain key aspects of both advanced Bioscience topics.
- Discuss and critically evaluate aspects of both advanced Bioscience topics within a specific research context.
- Discuss current research trends in both advanced Bioscience topics, identifying and analysing challenges with consideration of how they may be overcome.

Synopsis: | This unit will provide you with a critical awareness of current research areas within the biosciences. You will investigate advances in research and develop your understanding by critically evaluating and discussing published literature in a group setting.

Content: | You will be assigned to TWO classes, based on your degree programme. The current topics covered within each class will vary over time to reflect emerging research and technologies in the biosciences. You will work in groups to discuss and critically evaluate published research.
