Synopsis: Study the fundamental accounting concepts and techniques. You'll explore the conceptual and regulatory framework of accounting and the differences between management and financial accounting.

Content: Requirements and objectives for financial accounting and management accounting information:

The journey from simple transactions to the principal financial accounting statements.

Financial statement analysis.

Management accounting and short-term decision making within the firm.


Skills: Prepare financial statements for companies. Interpret financial and management accounting data in order to make decisions.

Aims: Obtain good, basic, working knowledge in key areas in financial accounting and management accounting.
