Faculty of Science Taught Programmes Team
We provide taught students with support on their studies and lead the administration of units and programmes to enable student progression and graduation.
We are responsible for:
- leading the operational administration to enable the continued success of undergraduate and postgraduate taught units and programmes across the Faculty
- providing advice and information to colleagues and students on taught programmes matters including programme and unit changes, coursework submission and extension enquiries, individual mitigating circumstances
- liaising with colleagues in central services on behalf of students and academics and acting as a central point of contact
- enhancing and harmonising learning and teaching processes through collaboration and sharing best practice
- DLTQC, SSLC, BEU and BEP committee secretariat support

Shared mailboxes are monitored Monday to Friday 9am - 4.30pm. We can be located in person in Wessex House 3.42/3.43, we have adopted a hybrid working pattern for 2025/6 so work part of the week on campus and part of the week remotely. However the office will be staffed Monday - Friday so there will be someone that can help and advise you if you visit.
