Prize Fellowships at the 好色tv are prestigious appointments for early career researchers to establish an independent research programme with a fast-track route to permanent appointment in a supportive and well-resourced environment. The scheme begins with an initial appointment to a fixed-term Research Fellow post with the strong expectation to transition to permanent Lectureship after three years.

The Prize Fellow will be supported to recruit a PhD student to a relevant topic area, to be co-supervised with a senior colleague. During the fellowship there will be many opportunities for career development activities including, optionally, gaining teaching experience in preparation for transferring to the permanent Lectureship.

Research expenses (including travel) of the Prize Fellow will covered up to £2,500 per year during the first three years.

The Heilbronn Prize Fellowship is a joint venture with the Heilbronn Institute for Mathematical Research (HIMR). During the first three years of the post, the Heilbronn Prize Fellow will spend 50% of their research time undertaking classified research at the direction of HIMR. The HIMR Bristol offices are easily accessible from the city of Bath via a short train journey.
