We’re looking for an operations supervisor (known with the university as Building Coordinator) for our accommodation cleaning teams. The Building Coordinator will join the Residence Life Operations team on a full time (36.5 hours) permanent basis. We require you to work 5 days out of 7.Some weekend working is expected on a rota basis (but this is mainly during the summer months).Hours are 9am-5.20pm.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operational day to day running of a section of University accommodation.
  • Management of an operational team to achieve an effective and efficient service for the customers.
  • Conducting regular 1-1 and team meetings with domestic and porter staff.
  • Completing frequent accommodation checks.
  • Responding to customer feedback on TopDesk.
  • Planning and achieving turnaround of accommodation after student departure, preparing rooms for student intake.

  • Experience in an administrative role.
  • Experience in a customer-focused role.
  • Experience of stock management.

The ºÃÉ«tv is seeking a Physiotherapist to provide match day cover for our Men’s BUCS Premier South rugby fixtures.

This is a casual role suited to an individual with strong clinical reasoning, confidence in trauma management, and experience working independently in performance sport environments. The successful candidate will contribute to player welfare and collaborate with the interdisciplinary support team.

Additionally, some athletes are contracted with Bath Rugby, and this role involves working in partnership with the club to ensure cohesive support for player development. Matches typically take place on most Wednesdays from September to March and require approximately 5 hours for home fixtures and 7 hours for away fixtures, covering pre[1]match preparation, match time, and post-match responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-match preparation, including strapping, and provide immediate pitch[1]side trauma care using appropriate equipment (extrication kit, oxygen, etc.).
  • Lead on injury triage and acute management, liaising with coaching staff, performance leads, and next of kin as needed.
  • Document injuries and ensure effective handover to Lead Rugby and Senior Physiotherapists, adapting method of communication for Bath Academy players if applicable.
  • Collaborate with the wider interdisciplinary team to support athlete care and rehab planning.
  • Supervise a placement student on match days, ensuring safeguarding and professional standards.
  • Comply with RFU, BUCS, and ºÃÉ«tv protocols for clinical care, documentation, and safeguarding.

Important Information

  • Travel time will not be paid. However, mileage expenses will be reimbursed for away fixtures in line with the University’s travel policy. Other reasonable travel expenses may also be covered upon prior agreement.
  • An Enhanced DBS check will be conducted and provided by the ºÃÉ«tv.

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with CSP and HCPC.
  • Valid PHICIS Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Experience in pitch-side medical cover, including injury assessment and emergency care.
  • Experience in strapping and conducting SCAT 6 assessments for head injuries.
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working within a university or performance sport setting.
  • Familiarity with the BUCS competition structure and the needs of student[1]athletes.
  • Experience in mentoring or supervising students.
