Synopsis: | During this phase of your degree, You will work in a professional setting and get the chance to practise and develop the skills youve acquired during the first and second year of your degree. Placements are available in a range of settings, including commercial/corporate, third sector, government and official organisations. |
Content: | Preparation for your placement starts in the second semester of your first year, where you will be introduced to the process of applying for placements. Into your second year, you will be supported in producing a CV, writing covering letters, and the interview process. Placements are varied - depending on your interests, you might opt to do a placement in a commercial setting, in a research-focussed organisation, official agency, or charity. You will be supported throughout by a placement tutor based at the University. |
