Learning Outcomes: At the end of the unit, the student will be able to: 芒锟铰emonstrate an ability to identify a research hypothesis. 芒锟铰nalyse literature sources to support their hypothesis. 芒锟铰resent the data and conclusions in the format of a research grant application.


Synopsis: "In this unit you will: - advance your professional skills by completing a literature-based research project focused on the development of appraisal and written communication skills. - conduct research around a scientific hypothesis and effectively analyse and appraise literature sources to support your hypothesis. - present your findings and conclusions in the format of a research grant application. "

Content: Students will be offered a choice of research project from a wide range of topics in pharmacology. The written report will take the form of a research grant proposal.
