Synopsis: | "Explore the relationship between language and power.
You will study and reflect critically on interpersonal and socio-political contexts, and the ways in which power dynamics are maintained and / or challenged through language. You will then apply these theories to your own analysis of case studies."

Interpersonal and social contexts
Gender
Multilingualism and language contact
Globalisation, minority languages, and the politics of international languages (e.g. English)
