- outline the principles of new product development;
- recognize the key steps of new product development process and identify the analytical tools applied in each step;
- investigate market opportunities for a new product concept and propose a concept development plan
- interpret outputs of market research and appraise companies' potential to develop competitive new brands in existing and future markets.

Synopsis: | Explore the factors that impact firms芒锟斤拷 new product development strategy and the analytical tools used for making decisions. You'll develop your knowledge of all stages of the product development process, with a particular focus on the concept development phase. Working in teams, you'll interpret market research data and develop new and modified brands on a market simulation platform.
