  • demonstrate enhanced knowledge and understanding of mathematical sciences at an appropriate level;
  • develop the ability to work and interact effectively in an environment in which cultural norms and ways of operating may be very different from those previously familiar;
  • demonstrate good oral communication and presentation skills;
  • in the case of students attending universities in countries whose language is not English, improve knowledge of the host language by attending classes therein;
  • in the case of students attending lectures in a language other than English, develop the ability to operate at a high scientific level in the language of the country concerned.



Synopsis: You will gain experience of living and studying in a University outside the UK, developing your personal and linguistic skills, as well as your knowledge and understanding of the mathematical sciences.

Content: It is assumed that the student will study courses equivalent to 60 好色tv credits. Details of these are necessarily left to negotiation between the overseas university, the student and the Bath Director of Studies, but a sample study programme would typically include work in a range of mathematics and/or statistics. It may also be appropriate to include management, languages, and one or two units in areas more related to the culture of the country in which the student is working.
