Content: Theory and key concepts in sport management (e.g., institutional theory, organisational theory, governance, managerial and marketing theories); sport management research and scholarship; sport organisations; leadership and organisational culture; human resources; strategic management (e.g., managing people and organisations, managing information systems, strategic planning and partnerships, managing change in sport organisations, internal/external influences on strategy); event management and marketing; media and marketing; social enterprise; evaluating sport management outcomes; sport management career and study pathways.

Aims: The aim of this unit is to examine, at an advanced and specialised level, key issues, concepts, debates, practical approaches, and career pathways in the field of sport management.
