Synopsis: | Create, design and conduct an independent educational research project.
Youll use the investigatory skills gained in the previous years of the course to identify an educational issue of interest to you, and critically evaluate it through the development of your project. You will reflect on the enquiry process and defend the approach to your research, and appropriately communicate your project findings and their implications. |
Content: | The unit is centred around the student managing and carrying out their own final year project. Therefore, the unit content is designed to help guide and support students by:
Outlining the phases required to complete the project.
Consolidating the research methods taught throughout the degree.
Providing guidelines about how to effectively communicate the project. |
