Year 4

Students must select 40 credits of options with an even split between semesters. 10 credit AY units are treated as being 5 credits per semester. The extended project can be chosen later instead of the individual project, subject to DoS approval. This would replace 10 credits worth of options. Students must also select a minimum of 20 credits of Maths options.

Academic Year: Final Stage

Compulsory Units:
With DoS approval, students can take CM32028 "Individual project (extended)" instead of CM32017. If approved, students must select units worth 30 credits from the remaining options, taking an even split of credits between semesters. Please note that students taking CM32028 "Individual project (extended)" may not transfer to an MComp programme later.
